Abiraa is a co-op student from McMaster University pursuing an Honours B.Sc. in Life Sciences with a minor in Sociology. Passionate about science communication, she is working toward a Science Communication Certificate and has experience leading educational workshops for students of all ages. She is especially interested in making science education more accessible and engaging for diverse communities. At Mining Matters, Abiraa is excited to combine her background in science education with her love for outreach, delivering engaging Earth science programs across Canada.
