Mining Rocks Earth Science Program in Marten Falls FN

Mining Matters, sponsored by the Ontario Ministry of Mines, is partnering with Marten Falls First Nation to deliver an engaging 4-day Mining Rocks Earth Science Program to students at Henry Coaster Memorial School. This program includes a community night for parents and community members to engage with program resources as well. The program will provide fun and informative hands-on activities to teach students about rocks, minerals, metals, mining, sustainability, and the importance of mining to our daily lives. The goal is also to inform youth and community about the many career opportunities available in the mineral exploration and mining industries.
