Mining Rocks Earth Science Program in Kashechewan FN

Mining Matters, sponsored by the Ontario Ministry of Mines, is partnering with Kashechewan First Nation to deliver an engaging 3-day drop in Mining Rocks Earth Science Program to the community's youth at Francine J Wesley Secondary School Gym. The program will provide fun and informative hands-on activities to teach about rocks, minerals, metals, mining, sustainability, and the importance of mining to our daily lives. The goal is also to inform youth and community about the many career opportunities available in the mineral exploration and mining industries.
