Aamna Bibi Malik is a third-year student at McMaster University pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Life Sciences alongside a concurrent Certificate in Science Communication. She is passionate about making science accessible, engaging, and community-driven through clear communication, educational outreach, and digital storytelling. Aamna has worked with several nonprofit organizations and student-led initiatives in communications, social media strategy, event coordination, and community engagement. She has held executive roles focused on social media and events. Through the Mining Matters and McMaster University Science Communication Career Test Drive Program, Aamna collaborated on an industry-partnered science communication project focused on educational outreach and public engagement. Her team’s final pitch received a 100% evaluation and was recognized as a Top 3 project in the SCICOMM 3P03 Challenge and a Certificate of Achievement in recognition of her contributions to the program. Aamna enjoys combining creativity with evidence-based communication to help diverse audiences better connect with science and STEM education.
