National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Mining Matters will honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation by dedicating time to learning, reflection and engagement with Indigenous voices, histories and experiences.

Team members will participate in meaningful learning opportunities, including cultural gatherings, educational events, exhibits, Indigenous storytelling and film, and learning about the history and ongoing legacy of residential schools.

Following September 30, we will come together to share our learning and reflect on how it can continue to inform our work.

As an organization working with youth, educators and Indigenous communities across Canada, we recognize learning and reflection as important parts of our ongoing commitment to reconciliation.
