Mining Rocks Earth Science Program

Mining Matters is excited to be hosting a 2-day Mining Rocks Earth Sciences Program in Red Sucker Lake, Manitoba. This program is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and introduce youth to the wide range of career opportunities available within Canada’s mining sector. Throughout the program, participants will explore the minerals and resources that shape everyday life, engaging in interactive discussions and hands-on activities that make earth sciences both accessible and memorable. The program also incorporates self‑assessments to help youth identify their strengths, interests, and potential career pathways. By blending experiential learning with personal exploration, the program aims to empower young people to envision a future in which they can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the mining industry.
