Earth Education Professional Learning Workshop - Miller Museum

This workshop will provide hands-on instructional development and complimentary teaching resources that focus on foundational Earth sciences, mineral resources and sustainability. The workshop will incorporate the Miller Museum mineral, rock and fossil collections and Mining Matters classroom resources and be delivered by content specialists and expert facilitators.

Geological Field Trip of the Kingston Region

Location:  Miller Museum of Geology, Miller Hall, Queen's University, 36 Union Street, Kingston

Date: Saturday, November 2, 2019

Time: 9:00 - 12:00

The field trip will include geological sites of interest important to understanding the geology of the region and be led by Queen’s University Geological Sciences and Geological Engineering Faculty Emeritus Dr. Herb Helmstaedt.
