2020 Rock Cycle Ride for Minerals Education

CANCELLED

The 9th Annual Rock Cycle Ride for Minerals Education has been cancelled due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19.

Mining Matters is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, sponsors and participants. We also respect the measures that have been implemented to help mitigate spread of the virus.

As a charitable organization, we rely on the support and leadership provided by corporations and individuals, such as yourselves. However, we understand that these are very uncertain times for everyone and that it would be difficult to commit to the event at this time. As a result, the Rock Cycle has been rescheduled for 2022.

2016 Rock Cycle Ride for Minerals Education

The 5th annual Rock Cycle Ride for Minerals Education took place on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Cedar Brae Golf Club in Scarborough, Ontario.

Riders experienced either a 40 km or 80 km tour through the Rouge Valley, returning just in time to join their golfing colleagues for a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner and prizes.

This is an annual signature event for Mining Matters, raising funds that support innovative educational programming for students, teachers and the public about Earth science, mining and the importance of mineral resources. Please join us for a great day of cycling, networking, philanthropy and fun.
